I grew up in an analog world. I remember typewriters, rotary phones and cassette tapes because they were a part of my childhood. I grew up taking photos on disposable film cameras and polaroids (I still have a one!). For me there is something classic in the nostalgia of film -- a nod to a bygone era and film that yields artsy, textured results.
The other thing I love about film is the stillness. There’s an inherent slowing down that must happen when using film. Your subject needs to hold the pose while you focus. You hold your breath at the bottom of an exhale when you click the shutter. It’s raw, tactile and real. Film is not 4G crisp or sterile. Instead it’s soft, grainy, and alive!
As a kid whose life bridges the analog and digital world, I want to bring that unique blend of film & digital photography to your session or wedding. When shooting in hybrid, I photograph each aspect of the day in digital while also taking a moment to slow down and capture you on film. The results are always magical and one-of-a-kind!

what does my session include?

Your session includes a 1.5-2 hour photography session at a private location that will allow you to really get into yourself and have fun! After your session, you will receive access to your images through an online viewing gallery where you can select your favorite photos, download digital files, and order prints. You also receive a print release that allows you to reproduce the images for personal use.
As your photographer, I’m also here to guide you and collaborate with you to make this experience YOURS. Throughout the planning process, I’m here to bounce ideas off of and can help you make wardrobe or fashion decisions. I also like to see what images inspire you and encourage your to make a Pinterest board or save images that you love on Instagram.

what should i wear?

Wardrobe is a personal choice. I encourage you to find clothing that makes you feel good in your body. That could be sexy lingerie, a flowy dress that hugs your curves, a bra and panty outfit with sexy stockings, a piece of your partner’s clothing, stilettos, a pearl necklace, a cute hat, a feather mask… the possibilities are endless! I encourage clients to have 2-3 outfits ready to go the day of your shoot. You can bring more items and make the decision in the moment as well, but try not to get overwhelmed since the shoot is about YOU and not about what you’re wearing :)

do you share my images?

With permission, yes. I always respect the privacy of my clients in regards to sharing on my website and social media. After you receive your images, I will ask that you let me know what restrictions you have about sharing (if any) and/or request that you select which images are approved for sharing. I want to offer this service to every woman and I love ALL the images I take of my clients. Thus, sharing is important for me as a business. However, as a professional my clients’ confidence and trust is of the utmost importance to me.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN MY PHOTOGRAPHY PACKAGE?

All of my wedding offerings include copies of your images in both high res and files sized for online sharing (digital or USB delivery options available), an online viewing gallery that you can share with guests and family and where you can order archival quality prints, and a print release that allows you to print the images for personal use.
I want my clients to feel like I am a part of their wedding day team. Thus, I offer two bonus calls or consultations prior to your wedding day along with email support to help you plan a photography timeline, think through logistics or anything else that you'd like to troubleshoot. I'm here for you and a resource for all things High Country.

when will i receive my images?

I do a sneak peek from your wedding within 72 hours of the event on both Facebook and Instagram. Around the ~2 week mark after your wedding day, I create a blog post of your wedding day story along with 30-75 images. I aim to get my clients their galleries by their one month anniversary.
However, during the busy season (August - December), My turnaround time can be up to 6-8 weeks. I will always keep you updated and check in with you around 4 weeks and followup weekly until your gallery is delivered.

can i print my images myself?

Yes! Your print release allows you to print your images wherever you'd like. I do have a disclaimer though regarding quality. Not all printers have the same standards for print quality and color integrity. All of the print offerings through my gallery are produced through a service that provides archival (will last forever) quality materials that are color-corrected for the computer that I edit on.
